How does Icon Roofing serve the whole Valley?
Icon Roofing works out of its office in Mesa and serves homeowners, HOAs and property managers across Metro Phoenix, in both Maricopa and Pinal counties. We inspect, repair and replace tile, shingle, foam, flat and metal roofs. Each part of the Valley has its own mix of roofs, so we plan work around local housing.
The city pages below go deeper on each area. Here is how the Valley breaks down for roofing.
East Valley
The East Valley is home base. Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert and Tempe hold a wide mix of concrete tile and architectural shingle, with foam and flat roofs on older homes, rentals and commercial buildings. Many subdivisions here were built from the 1980s through the 2000s, so tile underlayment and first-generation shingle roofs are the most common calls. These cities also have a lot of apartments, condos and HOA communities.
Southeast Valley
Queen Creek and San Tan Valley grew fast from the 2000s on, mostly with production homes under shingle and some tile. Open fields and desert leave these roofs exposed to monsoon wind and dust. Shingle repair, full reroofs and new roof installation make up most of the work here, along with roofs for casitas and outbuildings on larger lots.
Phoenix
Phoenix has every era of housing, but its older neighborhoods stand out for flat and foam roofs on ranch homes, apartments and commercial buildings. Heat from the city itself is hard on roof coatings. Ahwatukee, on the south side of South Mountain, is mostly tile from the 1980s and 1990s.
North and Northeast Valley
Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and the foothill towns to the north and east lean on heavy clay and concrete tile, flat roofs behind parapets, and standing seam metal on custom homes. Tile reroofs, careful tile matching and regular inspections matter most here.
West Valley
The West Valley includes established communities with many flat and low-slope roofs, including 55+ neighborhoods, along with tile-roofed subdivisions. Foam recoats, flat roof replacement and commercial work are common needs.
